What is Disney Plus Hotstar?
Hotstar is an Indian digital and mobile entertainment platform, which was launched by Star India back in 2015. Star India itself is part of 21st Century Fox, which was acquired by Walt Disney last year. This effectively brought Hotstar under the ownership of Walt Disney.
Following the acquisition, the Disney+ platform was integrated with Hotstar, and rebranded as Disney+ Hotstar in March this year. Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile subscription plan: price, number of devices
As part of the Mobile subscription, users get access to Hotstar Originals, Star network content including the Indian Premier League, ICC Cricket World Cup, Indian TV shows, new Indian movie premieres, and Exclusive Hotstar specials like Special OPS, Hundred, Criminal Justice, and all English premium content. This content is ad-supported, except for sports. Those opting for the Mobile plan will be able to stream the content in HD resolution on one device at a time. Disney Plus Hotstar Super subscription plan: price, number of devices
The Disney+ Hotstar Super Plan is exactly the same as the Mobile Plan, including ad-supported content barring sports. However, the difference lies in the number of devices allowed by the Disney+ Hotstar Super plan. Users who opt for the Super plan will be able to stream the content on two devices at the same time, and compatible devices include mobiles, laptops and TVs. Users can stream in Full HD (1080p) resolution.

Disney Plus Hotstar Premium subscription plan: price, number of devices

Vodafone Idea (Vi) postpaid plans with Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile subscription
Vi is also offering Disney+ Hotstar Mobile membership with several of its postpaid plans. In the personal postpaid plan category, the benefit is available with Rs 499, Rs 699, and Rs 1,099 Vi postpaid plans. These plans offer Amazon Prime subscription for 1 year, Disney+ Hotstar Mobile for 1 year, ZEE5 Premium for a year, and Vi Movies & TV VIP access. The Rs 1,099 postpaid plan also offers Netflix for a year.
Those on Rs 999, Rs 1,299, Rs 1,699, and Rs 2,299 family postpaid plans will also get the benefit. Disney+ Hotstar supports Dolby Digital Plus (ec3) and not Dolby Digital(ac3). When a title supports Dolby 5.1, the icon will appear on the description page.
